Sam to back Hughes in Lib Dems President race

"There is simply no one better than Simon Hughes for the job"

On returning home from his week in Dorset Sam Potts confirmed speculation that he is to back Simon Hughes MP to be the next President of the Liberal Democrats.

Speaking today Sam Potts, who lead Hughes Leadership campaign in Milton Keynes said:

"There is simply no one better than Simon Hughes for the job - with Charles Kennedy as Leader Ming as his Deputy and Simon as President there will be a tough force come the General Election

"Labour and there Conservative friends will be very worried at the recent surge in Lib Dem support - They have everything to fear. Liberal Democrats are winning and in huge numbers.
