Standing up for Stoke Goldington1.02.00am GMT Sat 2nd Feb 2008
Councillor Sam Potts has persuaded Milton Keynes Council to commission an independent report into the flooding at Stoke Goldington. The Liberal Democrat budget proposals include spending £75,000 to tackle flooding issues. Sam has done a great job on this for local people. Amazingly this proposal has been rejected by the Conservatives, who may make cheap jibes to the press, but won't commit a penny, Cllr. Sam Potts said: "I make no apology for standing up for the residents of Stoke Goldington. They are my first priority."
