"I will not be supporting any plans from Labour or Conservatives for fortnightly collections" said local Councillor, Sam Potts (photography: Sam Potts)

The new service from the Lib Dem run MK Council is now up and running. Food caddies and green garden waste bins have now all been delivered and the first collections started in September. All suitable properties have received a 140 litre outdoor wheeled bin (unless they already have one) and a small silver kitchen caddy to enable residents to recycle all their food and garden waste. All waste and recycling is collected on the same day, every week.

"We are delighted that our Lib Dem Council has come up again with an excellent environmental scheme to reduce the amount of landfill tax that we have to pay. I will not be supporting any plans from Labour or Conservatives for fortnightly collections" said local Councillor, Sam Potts
