Britain is set for real change with the Lib Dems in power for the first time in decades.

The rise of the Lib Dems made the General Election the most exciting in a generation. Nearly seven million people voted for the Lib Dems.

Now many of the policies those people have voted for will be put into practice thanks to the deal struck by Nick Clegg. This includes action for fairer taxes, to clean up politics and get the economy moving again.

Nick Clegg MP said “We fought the Conservatives hard at the General Election but now it’s time to put aside our considerable differences to give Britain the strong Government it needs.

“Labour has failed Britain for too long and even after the election refused to even talk seriously about working together.

Cllr Sam Potts said, “There is no doubt that when you look at the deal struck byNick Clegg there is pretty much everything we have been campaigning on in the last few weeks. This is a good deal for Liberals up and down the UK - But in Milton Keynes we will not be entering into any agreement – we are by far the largest party and will attempt to form an administration.
