All residents will by now have received their annual rolls of pink and black sacks.
Local Liberal Democrat Councillor Sam Potts said, “Its great that free pink sacks are readily available across the borough and, with so many materials now accepted in the Lib Dem council’s recycling scheme, the need to use black sacks for non recyclable waste should diminish further.
With the pink sacks and now green bins for garden and food waste as part of MK Recycling scheme, recycling rates have exceeded 50% thanks to the Lib Dem run council introducing them.
