Young people in Milton Keynes have a chance to try out kayaking, sailing, raftbuilding, fencing, archery, caving and wall-climbing this summer as Milton Keynes Youth Service offers these exciting activities for 13-19 year olds for only £5 a day.

Developed by the Youth Service to widen out the options for hundreds of young people over the summer holidays, and to give them a chance to try something new, the summer programme also includes opportunities for overnight stays at the Caldecotte Centre and a residential trip at the Longrigg Centre in Cumbria, at only £10 and £40 respectively.

Cllr. Sam Potts said: “This is an exciting addition to our Borough’s Youth Service.”

Young people will then be allocated to at least one water-based and one land-based activity for each day.
